Great location and great selection of foods to welcome your taste buds to Port Douglas. Friendly staff and great specials as well as oysters M-Th? during the week at an incredible low cost. Not sure if this is throughout the year however what a great oyster happy hour so to speak. Thanks from FrankLynne.

We wanted a seafood meal here in Port Douglas and were so glad to have opted for 2 Fish and to have gotten a dinner booking for our family of 6. The kids happily tucked into their well presented fish and calamari meals whilst we adults opted for the 5 course tasting menu which was a reasonable A$80 plus $35 for wine pairing. Every single item was exquisitely cooked, from the oysters with Vietnamese dressing to the tuna tartare with egg yolk: Malaysian butter prawns, grilled salmon to the butterscotch panna cotta.
They also took careful note of our dietary restrictions and kept up a good pace throughout even though the restaurant was fully packed that Friday night. Decor was tasteful, service cheerful, and the team in the open kitchen under supervision of sous chef Dennis that night seemed to be a happy bunch. Certainly they have a well oiled machinery going in support of the high level quality of food they produce, It’s no wonder they are a well-awarded restaurant, justifiably so.

My partner and I came here for Valentine's day and opted for their special of the night, opting for the prawns and calamari to start, with both of us going for the bug tails for dinner because it sounded too good to share :), irish chocolate and banoffi for desert, with a favourite of ours tassie bottle of wine to wash it all down. From the hostess to our eventual waitress, the service was fantastic, especially when despite us booking a table outside, the humidity hit. Every effort was made to make us feel comfortable. The meal itself was out of this world. The bug tails have been one of our favourite seafood dishes to date, and we both eat quite a lot of seafood. Both starters were also extremely tasty and of great portions. Despite it being very busy we still felt very looked after and couldn't have asked for better food/wine to enjoy it with. A very enjoyable evening.

For the last 3 nights days we ate close to the marina. We were going to go back to the same restaurants but they were fully booked for Valentine's. After checking with Trip advisor and Google, we decided to book 2Fish. The only regret we had was not coming here sooner!

Their 3 Pepper Calamari and Bug's Tails were absolutely amazing. Tuna Tartar was pretty delicious. Good size portions too. We were going to pass on dessert but Banofee looked quite intriguing on the menu. It was a super sized plate but the two of us cleaned it out. It was the best dinner we had at Port Douglas. (On The Inlet and Salsa Grill were pretty good too).
