Reading my reviews one may think I only give 5 star ratings. Yes it is true I give a lot of 5 star reviews, but there is a reason for this. I do a lot of research and mostly attend only restaurants with good reviews. That makes sense in my mind.

Anyways, Choo Choos at St Crispin.

Location? Serene, relaxing, views across the golf course, through the palm trees, to the ranges. Next to a lake full of Archer fish congregating for a feed. We went in the early morning and it was coolish, fans keeping the temp bearable.

Service? Friendly and warm and attentive. Cannot fault.

Food? Had a big brekki and the the better half had bacon and eggs. Both tasty, and a good amount for the price.

Drinks? Coffee, as mentioned in other reviews, best in PD. Had ice tea as well and my only gripe was that it was warm. The ice cubes did cool it eventually but I would expect it to be iced upon arrival.

Doesn't detract from an overall 5 star rating though.

Came for the morning coffee , which was great. Greeted by friendly staff who set a tab as we indicated we were staying for breakfast. The lake had a baby crocodile and some archer fish.
Looking out at the lush green golf course was refreshing and relaxing. We ordered the bacon with eggs $10and Choo choo’s big breakfast $19 ,with iced teas - green and lychee, hibiscus and passion fruit.
Breakfast was great, you really can’t go wrong with eggs. The iced teas were light and refreshing .
Coffee served -6:30-7:30
Breakfast from 7:30
Worth the $$

Stayed in PD for four nights at an apartment hotel and Choo Choos was only a quick walk away and therefore ideal for breakfast. The staff were very bright and helpful and the quality of the coffee (and I'm originally from Melbourne) was excellent. Very nice atmosphere as well

We walked out and back for breakfast from the Macrossan St area.
The setting is really lovely, by a large pond and lovely gardens. For me this was the stand out being here.
Eggs Benedict ok, eggs a bit on the small side for my liking.
Service standard.
