Great resort style accommodation. Pool and courtyard live up to photos, lipstick palms and Tuscan style tiles and tropical timber.

Two bed room well appointed, clever revolving TV, comfy couches and beds fairly firm. Our Queensland friends were cold with the bedding provided but the Victorians were happy.

BBQ area clean and very usable - great for breakfast to enjoy the grounds. It was largely unused during our stay probably because RCRis so close to Macrossen St and its numerous attractions.

We were unlucky enough to get one of the front rooms facing the road and that was noisy. Early deliveries and collections will help you enjoy the Port Douglas sunrise.

This hotel is centrally located and easy to get to all main areas of port Douglas. The room had a mouldy smell about it and would be difficult to be in during serious heat. The whole place is so noisy. Quite literally people talk outside your door. A click button lock is inadequate. Pool area was lovely but needed some maintenance with regard to deck chairs etc. Manager had to settle my dispute which I was grateful for, but wouldn't stay again.

We recently stayed here for a family reunion so taking 3 apartments on the ground floor. The apartment we were in was reasonably appointed, however, a little tired and very noisy - we could hear every conversation in the corridor outside and also in the next apartment!

It is close to the beach and only a 10 min walk to the main street which is handy with car parking available underneath and at the rear of the property.

We stayed here 9 years ago with 2 other families and really enjoyed our time back then however and not much has changed, could do with an update. We had to wait as the room wasn't ready and it appeared to be a quick job. The room that looked out to a big camper van and neighbours that could see in our room right through to the bathroom so blinds were down most of the time for privacy. The bathroom got smelly after 3 days maybe due to a slight toilet leak. Blankets had bleach stains not inviting to sleep with. Toilet paper, dish liquid etc minimal supplies so you have to pay. The pool area and gardens are maintained. Close to the beach and a 10 min walk to main st, wharf and restaurants. When we booked we mentioned we had previously stayed here sadly it made no difference, no encouragement for future visits or referrals. There are other accomodation places much more appealing in same price range, reviews are worth reading before committing.
