Have dined at the crooked cactus a number of times and we are never disappointed. Ideal for that quick dinner or for a birthday celebration. The kids love the large sombreros that they are given to wear when it is there birthday..

From the outside this restaurant looks like a bit of a dive but once you walk through the door it is wonderful. We regularly visit this restaurant and the food is always great. The marguerita menu is extensive. Make sure you book a table though as it is always busy. It is a great place to have a birthday dinner so make sure you let them know it is a birthday when booking so the birthday person gets a special mention. The only fault with this place is that I find it a little noisy in the new section. I always try to book in the old section.

I like to visit this restaurant as a first choice when a special occasion comes up with friends. Always enjoy a strawberry jarhito! Very relaxed and friendly staff. The location may be a little off putting to some, but once you are inside enjoying the food, you forget where you are. Spicy chicken strips are always a winner. The only meal I haven't enjoyed there was the beef burrito. I've also never tried the desserts again since attempting to eat some badly burned chocolate nachos. Generally the place is a winner though.

I come here about every second month and it is a great place. It's got atmosphere but I guess as it is very popular it is sometimes gets very noisy. The meals are great and the drinks are better.

This place is a funky restaurant. It has a great ambiance and so awesome menu! It's interesting how from the outside it looks so quiet and ordinary... But inside is a place full of people and life!

The drinks menu is full of wonderful and unique cocktails (my fave was the fruit tingle). The foo sis also amazing - the beef fajitas, which come on a sizzling hot plate, are fantastic.

The place seems made for parties, with two happening while I was there.

The one downside was the waitstaff, who seems too few and not attentive enough. It took them forever to take our order and bring the food. A little more organisation would fix this (the bar staff didn't have this problem).

All in all a highly recommended place to go!
