There are three things that make this place special:
1) Cooking on tepan is sort of a food show, where a lot depends on the skills of a tepan cook. The one that serviced us was very charismatic and positive.
2) Visitors are allowed to bring their own alcohol. As the wine shop was around the corner, it made it very convenient and well priced. Everyone knows that most of the margin restaurants make on alcohol. For 3 persons we ordered two sets of crocodile and kangaroo meet made in teriyaki and sweet chili sauce. Plus 5 spring rolls as a starter. It was enough for 2 adults and 15 age teenager. The total bill was 67 aud + 24 aud for the wine around the corner. Very reasonable price.
3) although we selected not the best meat Australia can offer, it was fresh and tasted good.
Recommend to go with kids or in big compAny of friends.
Tepanyaki is fun.
