Outstanding environment, friendly staff, great happy hour prices on boutique beers and half price pizzas.
Can highly recommend the Caramelized Onion, Goats Cheese and Apple Balsamic Pizza, ne of the best I have ever had.

We went with friends and it was not very busy (midweek). The food was good and service OK. I had the crispy skin Barramundi with Thai satay sauce.

Cooked to perfection

Booked a special occasion function for extended family and was put in an alcove which was difficult for older family members and those with babies, to access and the seating was uncomfortable. The alcove was hot and stuffy and the noise from the restaurant seemed to echo in the alcove, it was impossible to hear conversation with our group. Nearest table was jammed up to the alcove, making it difficult to get out of the alcove from our seating. Our order took forever to come and the garlic breads which we ordered while we waited, were very dry, not appealing. Our meals, when they finally came left a lot to be desired. My chicken with risotto was undercooked, the chicken bone still had blood around it...and the risotto was tasteless. Gnocchi was tasteless, tomatoes were unusually sour and the beef tasted very poor. The steak meal was dry and the chips looked positively petrified. The noodles with the Barramundi were inedible as they had so much pepper. The questions ask about wheelchair accessibility, well the alcove wasn't even accessible to able bodied people...probably other parts of the restaurant are. I can only review where we were. When one of the guests finally asked how much longer our meals would be, she was singled out by a staff member and the attitude of that staff member was inexcusable. Threatened that she would be charged for the meal if she left, meals had not been started at that point and instead of providing any rational response or apology for the lengthy delay, she simply resorted to arguing about how many people were in the restaurant and ignoring our order time. If the alcove wasn't so hot and stuffy and noisy, her baby might have been able to sleep and the lengthy wait for meals might not have been so painful. Fortunately for the other patrons, the Mum stood for most of the time outside the restaurant (where the outside temperature was cooler than that in the 'airconditioned' alcove and far less noisy. Perhaps we might have gotten a better result if the baby had cried and bothered others? Instead we tried to consider others and had our night ruined by the restaurant staff. Not a night we will be repeating. No recommendation for any aspect of the night at all. First time I've put in a negative review and it gives me no satisfaction to do so. Hope they lift their game and providing staff training for particular staff might be a good start. Ensuring meals are actually cooked and that they are appealing ought to be a given...at any restaurant.

I dined in with 2 co-workers for lunch and all of our meals were delicious. I had the stuffed chicken breast and mushroom risotto, one co-worker had the duck curry lunch special and the other had pork belly. Quick and friendly service was great.

Such a nice place to have lunch and in a good location, right in the heart of the city.

Will definitely come back next time I am in town and will be recommending highly to others.

Thank Victoria M
