It's located in the heart of Melbourne from which you can reach Victoria market and other landmarks easily on foot. However, I experienced multiple issues with this hotel. 1) When I emailed them to book extra one night, they didn't correspond at all until I emailed them again to disregard the request. 2) The rooms were overbooked and my colleagues and I had to move to other hotels with a very short notice. 3) Some staff had attitude issues and were quite rude time to time. 4) They have an interesting lunch system - receiving an order from each guest - but it took over 20-30 min to order and be served. Often they confused with orders from other tables.

The hotel is situated in a great location, close to transport, shops and the Vic market. However the facilities are limited at the hotel and the rooms are only poor. I was at the Jasper hotel for 2 days of training where we were left with insufficient air conditioning in our training rooms.
The staff were polite but not overly helpful over the phone.

My wife and I chose this hotel as we were attending a concert at Rod Laver Arena. The hotel is in a fantastic location right next to Victoria Market and several excellent cafes and restaurants. (We had fantastic tapas at El Rincon on Victoria Street). The reception staff were very friendly and welcoming, and we noted the they performed a variety of tasks including working behind the bar and serving/waiting on in the restaurant too! The service was excellent in all areas. The hotel itself is modern, and our room was bright and clean, with a decent-sized flat-screen TV. Foxtel was a nice bonus!, The room and bathroom were very clean and the bed comfortable. We enjoyed a glass of wine sitting on the spacious balcony looking out onto the hustle and bustle of Elizabeth street. Breakfast was included with our booking, and we both thoroughly enjoyed it. Jasper hotel is a modern, no-frills hotel, with staff who understand good customer service. This hotel is very good value for money, and we will definitely book again for future short stays in the CBD.
