“A Gem of a Find in North Fitzroy”
Reviewed 14 October 2014 for a stay in October 2014

This was a lovely little 'haven' to return to each day. We felt at home as soon as we walked in the door. Loved the quirkiness of the loft and it was spotless. Also loved the close vicinity to Brunswick St which was 'Shopping Heaven' for us as we came to Melbourne to find vintage and different clothing to what we have in Newcastle and Sydney.

Liked best: The 'feel' of the place when you walked in. Some places just 'have it'; many do not.
Liked least: Only one mirror; with 4 girls staying together.

“Perfect, Home away from home!!”
Reviewed 21 July 2014 for a stay in July 2014

Our family had a wonderful time staying at the loft for a weekend away. With 2 young boys we needed somewhere that was just like home and we sure got it! Gorgeous, clean apartment with all the modern amenities. Could easily entertain downstairs while the kids slept soundly upstairs. Fantastic location. Owners lovely to deal with, nothing was too difficult. A lovely surprise to arrive to after a long day of driving and shopping was a fresh loaf of bread and milk which I had ran out of time to get for breakfast the following morning. Above and beyond!! A special touch that was very unexpected but made our lives so much easier. Thank you Katrina we will be back again.

“Great place for exploring Melbourne”
Reviewed 11 June 2014 for a stay in May 2014

My wife and I, together with our grown-up son, stayed at The Loft for one week recently. It is well-equipped throughout, including a courtyard garden ideal for barbecues, and parking is available close by. The centre of Melbourne is accessible in about 10 minutes on the wonderful tram service, (don't forget the Myki ticket!) and nearby Brunswick Street has a wide selection of restaurants and other stores, some of which reflect the district's boho vibe. Wifi is available. We really enjoyed our stay, and would happily recommend The Loft for one or two couples, or perhaps a family with young children. Just mind the spiral staircase! Katrina took care of our booking and provided excellent service.

The apartment was very clean and attractive with good indoor and outdoor space. Located within walking distance of great shops including a fantastic supermarket with all sorts of delicacies and factory shops galore. Friendly people too.

“Home Away from Home”
Reviewed 24 May 2014 for a stay in April 2014

Our family - grandparents, parents and granddaughter - stayed at The Loft for 5 nights in April. We felt immediately at home in this lovely apartment, and enjoyed our stay immensely. Situated in a quiet street off a very busy street, we were pleasantly surprised that the Loft was so quiet, yet so convenient to the many restaurants in Fitzroy, shopping and the city. We were delighted to have the option to cook meals in the beautifully equipped kitchen, and often had our daughter and husband for dinner - we found the living area more than adequately comfortable for the seven of us. We appreciated the friendly welcome from Katrina, with fresh bread and milk provided, and also the excellent service Katrina gave, making the booking process easy and straightforward. I can thoroughly recommend the Loft and look forward to staying again.
