Afternoon tea is a cheese platter, bubbles and a delicious cake selection. The cheese was a bit dry but the platter was nicely presented, the cakes were brilliant and the wait staff were sweet and attentive. We were then taken on a tour of the building by Chloe, whose passion and knowledge of the building made it fun and informative. A close up of the tower, the board room and the restored areas were just breathtaking. Kudos to the Doc for giving his time and money to restore such an iconic building. An absolute must if you love art deco or just brilliant architecture!

We had the historical tour of this wonderful building and a wonderful lunch at 1932 Cafe. The meal was superb and the staff very friendly and attentive. The mushroom ragu on polenta and lamb shanks with mash were just divine. Excellent dessert and coffee also. We will definitely come back to try breakfast or have lunch again very soon.

We joined the breakfast tour of the iconic Manchester Unity Building.
Fantastic!!
The breakfast, with champagne was a great way to start the day. The staff were lovely, attentive and charming. The breakfast was enjoyable.
Chloe was our tour guide. She was very informative, passing on lots of interesting information about the building, from construction in 1932 to missing crocodiles (?!) to murdered jewellers.
The Board Room is absolutely terrific - all the Art Deco pieces are wonderful.
Many thanks to Dr Pajouhesh for overseeing the significant refurbishments and upgrades of the building.
