This hotel has the perfect location, walking distance to the main shopping, restaurants and bars in the city (Queen Street) and also 5 min to the boats station to the islands and the tourist bus. The view from the rooms with balcony are amazing and the staff and the service at the hotel is great

It was a pleasure to welcome you to our waterfront hotel on Princes Wharf and thank you very much for sharing a review on TripAdvisor.

I am delighted you enjoyed the hotel's unique location sitting 300 metres out to sea on the Waitemata Harbour. It certainly does offer a great vantage point for our guests.

Thank you for choosing to stay at Hilton Auckland and I hope we may see you back on future travels.

    Kind regards, Adrian Teh.

The hotel suited my needs on this trip. It could do with a little softening in the lobby but the staff were excellent.
It would be good if they could provide e-keys but they are coming next year apparently.

My husband and I stayed at the Hilton Hotel in Auckland for one night on our way through New Zealand.

As with the usual Hilton standard, this hotel stood out as excellent in every way. All of the staff members were helpful and very friendly, assisting us above and beyond what we could have asked for.

Our room was lovely and had an incredible view of the harbour. It was equipped with everything we could have needed, and we particularly loved the bath robes and slippers provided.

We had the buffet breakfast at the restaurant, which was very lovely. The chef cooked eggs fresh and to our liking on arrival, and the buffet had a lot of different choices.

We were confused initially as to where to park, as the hotel is at the end of a wharf and the only way to get there is through a Wilson carpark (approx $60 a day). However, the Hilton had a valet service (NZ $45) and we were able to leave our car there.

Overall, we had an excellent stay.

Thank you for sharing a review on TripAdvisor and I am delighted to read your feedback and glad you took the time to experience Hilton Auckland on your travels through NZ. It sounds as though your stay ticked all the boxes!

The hotel certainly does feature a great vantage point on Princes Wharf in the CBD and what better way to start the day than with a relaxing breakfast in FISH restaurant!
I hope we may see you back on future travels and you can stay a little longer next time!

Thank you for choosing to stay at Hilton Auckland.

    Kind regards, Adrian Teh.

Auckland was the first stop on our honeymoon to New Zealand, and we chose to stay at the Hilton due to it being a reputable and well known chain. While there was nothing really wrong with the hotel, I wouldn't rush back if I was in Auckland on another occasion. The room we had was nice but I didn't feel it was serviced to a very high standard (for example we weren't always given new toiletries even though they had clearly been used), and on one occasion the room was still unserviced after 2pm. The really annoying thing about it, was that my husband had booked a rate that included breakfast, and our confirmation had the code BB on it next to the rate, however when we asked about breakfast they said that we didn't have it because it wasn't on their system. The man on reception even said the code (BB) meant bed and breakfast, but then said again it wasn't on their system so we didn't have breakfast included. We were told as a deal, they'd let us have breakfast for 'just' $29 each! He said he'd clarify for us and ring us in our room but never got back to us. Behaviour like this does rather put you off staying in a place. On a more positive note, the doormen were all very nice and extremely helpful.

My very best congratulations on your recent marriage and I am delighted you spent your honeymoon in NZ, with Auckland being your first port of call.

Thank you for sharing a review on TripAdvisor, however I am sorry to read that you encountered some inconsistencies during your time with us. I do apologize for the fact that your guest room was not serviced to your expectation and also that there appears to have been an issue with your guest room rate inclusive of breakfast. Please be assured that your feedback has been shared with the hotel’s operations manager.

Thank you for choosing to stay at Hilton Auckland and I hope we may see you back on future travels should you be returning to the ‘City of Sails’.

    Kind regards, Adrian Teh.
