AFter some iffy hotel experiences in New Zealand, our welcome here from Ray and Helen couldn't have been better. Both are experienced hoteliers and know how to treat guests unobtrusively but caringly. THe property is set back from the front and overlooking the harbour and bay.. Breakfast of cereals and fresh fruits etc is taken on a terrace with other guests and very informal. Our room was large and comfortable
with very good air con (essential in the Summer).Whilst not at all a problem for us, a minor comment is on accessibility for the infirm, the house being set on a steep slope, but that aside, we couldn't fault the standard of this wonderful B£B.

Room Tip: THe upper floors have better views from the verandah outside.

Thank you so much for your wonderful comments. We really enjoy hosting guests at our BnB. Breakfast is always a winner on the terrace overlooking the Bay.

Cheers

We stayed with a few family members in their self-contained unit - and it was just amazing! It's almost a whole floor of the building, including a huge deck with BBQ, 10 beds, and generally a very spacious layout. The best part of the building are the views from the deck, it's just amazing! :) The location is also very convenient, as it's close to central Paihia. The owners were super friendly, and the check in/out was totally uncomplicated. We'll be back!

and only a short walk to the resort centre.

This is the best combination of room and view we have stayed in in New Zealand. Hosts very friendly and accommodating. Excellent breakfast service. Great location. On a hill so not for the unfit but not too strenuous. Paihia has plenty of amenities. Good touring base for north of North Island

This B&B is in a great location, only a short walk to the resort centre's shops, restaurants, and ferry wharf. Our host is a real gentleman who made every effort to ensure we had a comfortable stay and also gave us lots of information about the area. Breakfasts were sumptuous and came with stunning views over the bay to Russell. Strongly recommended!
