Definitely worth the stop. Amazing trees. Can walk for free through the forest or you can pay to walk high in the trees on a walk way. Absolutely beautiful. Very clean toilets. Lovely cafe and gift shop.

Easy to find as you take the highway out of Rotorua, heading to Tauranga. Turn right at the first round about and this is Longmile Road. Travel up a little and its sign posted to turn right into the forest. At the end there is a visitor information centre, free parking and toilets.

We did the Redwood Treetop walk only (a cost but well wortth it!) and it was a great experience. It was showering at the time which highlighted all the trees around. Would love to do this a night to see all the lights! Well worth a visit for sure!
