If you go to New Plymouth - this is a great place to stop for brunch, lunch and coffee etc. Great cabinet food choices and good menu options as well. Good coffee. They have a kids menu which is always nice to see. The best looking cheese and onion scones which were being purchased by many. I had the Seafood Chowder and this was really lovely - I like my chowder thick and it was. Staff were really friendly - it felt like the owners were the staff and were passionate about the place. Such a lovely surrounds - ability to sit inside or out.

We have been out cycling the walkway and what a perfect little place to stop. We had lunch there and happened to be served by the owner, she could not have been more pleasant. I had a salad and my partner had fish and chips. Talk about fresh, and lovely presentation. It is right on the water and has the most wonderful atmosphere. Perfect place to sit with a coffee and a good book on a cold winters day when the fire is going and waves crashing :) P.S. don't forget to pick up their news letter, well written and has different offers, for dec it was cake and coffee for two only paying for one.

Was ready for brunch after scaling Paritutu Rock and following a recommendation from a friend, we ended up here. Was very busy but the staff were doing a great job keeping everything going smoothly.

The coffee was good and the food fantastic! Well worth the 15min wait (which isn't that long anyway). Prices were certainly reasonable and coupled with a great view, I walked out feeling very satisfied with stopping in.

An eclectic range of food, always delicious;it is a busy place & great atmosphere. Gluten free options, a view of the harbour. There are free parking spaces for diners, now that the council has put in park/pay; a bonus!
