We went on a busy Friday night and were able to be accommodated without a booking and were served our meals in a reasonable time. We ordered the haloumi main, broccoli, green beans and roti as well as an indian mocktail. All were delicious and the portions were enough for two of us.

Great atmosphere and very, very tasty and authentic food. The squid and chicken starters are particularly tasty. Worth booking as it gets busy early

randomly stumbled upon this place when i had lost my keys and was waiting for a spare went in for a drink and was amazed. Wonderful vibe and wonderful decor. AND EXCELLENT BAR AND WINE LIST which sometimes is rare at Indian restaurants. Staff is soooo nice and food was to die for. The whole experience took me back to my days travelling in India. Was such a pleasure and can not wait to go back. Chai was so authentic and the dessert chocolate naan was to die for.

At the outset we were told by the helpful/friendly waitress that all dishes came medium spiced but we could alter to milder or hotter. As we eat spicy/hot foods regularly we though that would be okay but on refection should have ordered our dishes mild as the 'heat' was quite a distracting feature for most of our family group.

As this was our first visit to this popular restaurant I went for two starters - Chana Del Chaat & Malai Broccoli - and was very happy about the choice. My daughter found the Vindaloo Wings a challenge due to spicyness. The other dishes we had were the Lamb Dhansak, Murgh Makhani & Vegeable Kolhapuri. We didn't eat a lot of the curry sauce for each dish due to the spicyness.
