Room was well equipped and had all you needed. Bed comfy and the air conditioning unit helped immensely. Like many city hotels it is quite utilitarian in its look. Bathroom was ok with a shower over a bath, however whilst the bath etc were clean it’s needs a bit of TLC particularly with regard to the tiles around the room, some of which needed a good clean. And the shower curtain was beginning to show it’s age. It needed refreshing.
One annoying thing is that the curtains aren’t black out so a bit of light seepage from those at night and the door to the room has a gap at the base so the hallway lights also add to the light pollution. If you’re one to suffer with that then get some eye masks.
Staff friendly and helpful. Food/drinks in the place are over priced so unless you get an offer which includes breakfast take a pass and head out to get it.
There’s a TV in the room but standard channels are limited. The Hilton group could do better.
There’s also an iron, ironing board, and hairdryer along with miniatures for washing etc.
Some of the plug sockets had a direct usb point so really useful if you forget your plug!
The hotel is close to things to do so good in that respect. I couldn’t imagine staying there more than a couple of nights as it’s a bit soulless.

Beautiful building in very quite area with lots of complimentary parking. Rooms are big enough and bed was very very comfortable! After checking in you’ll receive huge cookie as a gift which was lovely. Interior if hotel is not the most modern one but at least you feel more like staying home than in hotel. Only pont to note was our batroom was clean but would say is getting tired.

Pool area and grounds were great. Pool was really refreshing and heated, there are towels located at the pool for reference.

With a delicious warm cookie handed to you upon check in, to the beautiful water fountains on display inside the glass enclosed walls this hotel is quite surprising.

Located nearby & within walking distance of the towns shopping mall (approx 20 mins), for those who want some retail therapy or just to indulge in a quick bite from the food shops inside the center.

Located within the hotel is a restaurant that offers a great menu for those wanting to dine on site. One I will be trying upon my return to Christchurch.

This was a quick one night stopover while I was in Christchurch but one I would return to stay at.

We had a large family gathering (110) for a celebration. The staff were exceptional and made sure our event ran very smoothly. We were allowed early access to decorate. The meal was extremely tasty, with a variety of food. It seemed all 110 of us were served at the same time.
