From the outside, it looks like a regular restaurant nothing special, but that was the first place we came to and we were hungry and cold. We order the seafood chowder, bowl of fries and fried rice - the latter was huge!!

The chowder was not too bad but it was the fried rice that blown us away. Doesn't look like much but it was so tasty!! It has the wok-hei found in good Chinese cooking - well done!!

I do often visit this place. My recent visit with my friend was to try there new Thai Menu and Burgers. Have to say One of the best Thai food have ever tasted. Spiced Chicken Burger with cucumber raita was excellent. Chef takes great pride in presenting the food on plate. A1 place...will be back to try more...

All good with the food. We tried the stone grill. This was a good experience. Beef lamb and venison.

Stopped here on the way back from Milford Sound. The food was the worst food we've had in our week in New Zealand. The $17 'snapper and chips' was totally inedible and must have just come out of the freezer. The $12 'wedges' were tasteless and simply a large sweet potato cut into massive pieces. The coffee was 'ok' but gritty and burnt.

The bathrooms were very clean however and there was a nice view over the lake.

Staff issued us a refund however and were apologetic

This cafe is located right across from the lake--they have great seating inside and out and free WiFi!!!! They also have a nice, clean bathroom which is conveniently located. Their food is average but not really overpriced--all made up for by the location, Wi-Fi and bathroom! :)
