Only used the self contained unit as a stopover en route to Golden Bay. However, it was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We arrived late and a staff member had left lights on which was a nice touch.

So surprised to see this site has three combo shower/toilet units. Also pleasantly surprised that we didn't have to use a coin to get the shower working. The site is near a lovely sandy beach and also near a very good restaurant within walking distance.

Spacious rooms, a properly kitted out kitchen (a must for us travelling with young children), very close to a pristine beach and secure for children to play around the park.
Downside is limited internet so had to hotspot off our mobiles - I'd expect unlimited internet after paying roughly $220 per night

This is a great park, about 10 minutes drive from Westport. It is right on the beach and super quiet. The facilities are fantastic especially the kitchen! It was a very quiet day, however I think the park even in summer will be a great place to stay.

A well kept clean and tidy camp to suit caravans, camper-vans, tenting or onsite cabins. I believe this must be a family favorite camp for many west-coasters & vacationers who have worked their way up from Queenstown/Wanaka through Haast Pass to follow the West-coast and all it has to offer. (Stunning BTW.)
After a short 10 minute drive a nice walk to be had to the west from camp to see the lighthouse and the seal colonies, and many Weka's in the long grass and vegetation.Enjoy the glorious West Coast sunset while doing this weather allowing of course.
