I stayed at Bathurst Goldfields as a volunteer, and was very happy with the quality of accommodation. the rooms were clean, the communal kitchen very useful, and the location was very peaceful. Would recommend for a relaxed overnight stay.

I didn't actually stay in the motel accommodation.
I was there for the Bathurst 1000 weekend and managed to snag an available bed in a dormitory type room at very last-minute notice.
It was one of four rooms in the building - mine had 4 double bunks.
Beds were clean - as were the toilets and showers.
Accommodation included buffet style breakfast and dinner - which was plentiful enough to not need lunch in between!
The food was outstanding quality with huge variety. If you couldn't find plenty to fill you up you must be very hard to please.
The accommodation would not suit everyone - but for that weekend it was perfectly what I needed and excellent value for money - and walking distance to the track.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
I'll be back!

Room Tip: For the Bathurst 1000 weekend - bring ear plugs!

Unusual location for a motel by a racetrack but we loved the tranquil relaxing setting. The office is not always manned so it was hard to get information and advice but the rooms were comfortable and clean, the beds were comfortable and we found it to be a very relaxing place to stay overnight after a long drive. It was cold weather when we visited but the rooms are cosy and warm. Good stay and reasonable price.

I actually used to work at the Goldfields in the Office for a few years before leaving to go interstate and having children.
Since moving back to the Region we have since taken our children up there to see where I used to work and to go on one of the Gold panning tours - the tour was great (as they always were), very enjoyable for the kids.
Lots of changes and improvements have been made to the site in general, and they are all very positive.

Booked for a wedding at the venue. Stayed 3 nights. No onsite management.
There is an office at the function centre that handles the bookings etc but is closed after 4 or 5pm. A little bit isolated. In saying that if you like the country feel it was great sitting on the front balcony and watching rabbits and kangaroos in the morning or the evening. The nearest shops are about 1.5 klm away. The complex is the perfect setup for larger groups or school trips. For rev heads a short walk up the driveway and your standing at the start of one of the most exciting straights in motor racing, Con Rod straight. Rooms where clean and tidy and had modern fittings.
There is a small shared kitchen area.
