WE had a family dinner - 4 adults, 2 teenagers. The family had quite diverse tastes. The two teenagers ordered their own dishes and the 4 adults shared. We had seafood, chicken and beef dishes - one dish very spicy (as ordered). We found each dish very tasty - no blandness. The two teenagers had traditional chinese dishes (probably the same dish every time they visit) This was my first visit. I was impressed. The wine list is extensive (Paul's a wine buff) - maybe a fraction expensive but this seems to be the norm these days. We had a mixed entree - I think Paul chose that - very diverse and tasty. It's hard to catergorise the food - lots of diferent influences. This restaurant is a long standing one - We went on a Tuesday night - Luckily we booked - restaurant was nearly full - a good sign.
A Pleasurable experience.

We ate IN, not take-away.
Lets just say, the food is awesome, the portions enormous and the service just right. Whatever Asian style food you like, its here and gets top billing.

Chicken hot pot to watery no flavour, tum yum mussels to much sugar. Paul's used to be the trade mark of good Asian, now it's the worst and at a premium price.

Take away Peking Beef and vegetarian fried rice June 4th. The Peking beef was full of chunks of pineapple and tomatoes (a large portion of the dish) normally not common elements of this dish as it is known - priced over $20. The large "vegetarian" fried rice was even worse. Was just shallots and egg with cubed zucchini (undercooked) and two slices of mushroom. No carrot, capsicum or broccoli etc. disappointing for an attempt at a hassle free Sunday night meal.
