“loved it!”
Reviewed 22 August 2011 for a stay in August 2011

We were here for a night and had such a lovely stay. The staff were very welcoming and our room had a beautiful peaceful outlook. We did a wine tour during the day, raided the Hunter cheese and chocolate shops, and had such a nice picnic on the balcony then a dvd from the little library that we didnt even go out that night! A nice homey feel. I definetely recommend for couples.

“Kangaroos Galore and loved it!”
Reviewed 20 August 2011 for a stay in August 2011

Staying here gave us a taste of the perks of staying in the countryside. Estate was beautiful and picturesque with well-landscaped gardens and lake, well within the valley yet quiet and tranquil. Add the picture of families of kangaroos bouncing all around the estate from dusk to dawn. Excellent :)
Stayed in the Monet Room, which was cozy and good-sized with a balcony that oversees the front of the estate. Raylee was nice and helpful.
Would recommend this place for a countryside getaway!

“A Touch of Luxury in the Hunter”
Reviewed 15 August 2011 for a stay in August 2011

What a lovely spot to relax away from city life. The very large bedrooms are themed and welcoming, and the king bed was fabulous.
Raylee and her mum were charming, perfect hosts.
A beautiful country style hot breakfast, accompanied by the best yougurt we have ever eaten (Raylee gave us the supplier) was a perfect way to start active days of golf and wine tasting.
Each night when we came back from dinner, we played cards and sampled some of the wines we had bought in front of a crackling log fire in the beautiful downstairs lounge.
Each morning we woke to see kangaroos playing in the front of the house and hot air ballons floating above....what a life.
This is a place that I would go back to.

“Great View of the Vineyards and Kangaroos”
Reviewed 8 August 2011 for a stay in July 2011

We stayed at the Willow Tree for three nights while we were in Hunter Valley. The room was very clean and spacious, the balcony was a nice perk. Though during the day the kids were outside loudly playing around, so that wasn't quite as relaxing to sit outside. The breakfast was decent, just cereals, toast and coffee/juice. Each night we walked down the road just before dusk and got to see a ton of kangaroos eating and even one with a Joey in her pouch. It was very easy to check in and out, they let us borrow a scale to weigh out our luggage before leaving Australia which was helpful. The location was great to drive to all the wineries and restaurants in the area. They also had helpful literature and maps to navigate the area.

“Perfect Weekend Away”
Reviewed 8 August 2011 for a stay in August 2011

Willow Tree Estate was the perfect location for a relaxing weekend away in the Hunter Valley. Raylee and the team made us feel extremely welcome and great recommendations for dinner and activities in the area.
We will be back!
