We were there on Australia Day and the price was almost double to the normal price. So was the extra day we stayed.
The towels and bedding were clean but the room wasn’t. The room looked as if it hadn’t been decorated for at least ten years and the furniture even longer and very basic. There was the bare minimum facilities in the room, no toaster, no hairdryer, no iron or ironing board. I wouldn’t recommend anyone staying there,
Had business in the area the next day, so instead of leaving home in the miserable weather we were currently enduring, we decided to drive down the day before and stay overnight. Basic, but very clean motel. Clean room. Clean linen. Even free wifi for the tech-heads. Nice warm shower. VERY little road noise, despite being on a fairly busy through-road. Will certainly stay again when back in the area later in the year.
My husband and I recently travelled to Wollongong and the hosts were so lovely and helpful. It’s an older hotel, but is very clean and in an easy and convenient location. We will be staying again. Thank you
I'd booked a double bed room for myself, but last minute had a friend wanting to stay and they were happy to give us a twin room with 2 bed which was handy. It's in a great location near the city and train station with no street noise, and a short walk to North Wollongong beach. The room itself was small, especially the shower and toilet, but had everything we needed. Everything was clean and in good working order, the bed was comfortable, the mini fridge was just enough, and it was easy to have a coffee with lifelong milk in the fridge. It was adequate enough for the price for 2 people, not sure if I would pay that price for myself alone, but it does the job.
Quite all right average 3 star property Thai restaurant at this place not good avoid sloppy food presentation food not like other Thai restaurants sir fine tv ok bathroom shower good bed comfortable handy tp rail @ town very good club near by food exellent
