A different kind of setting watching the brewing and bottling process of their beers which are flavoursome and enjoyable. A simple little menu with an assortment of pizzas which are freshly made and not dripping with grease. Also the pulled pork sliders are totally delicious.

Wide range of locally brewed beer with different stile /quirky fixtures and fittings . Great live music and puzzles such as giant Jenga.

We stumbled across the Brewhouse after failing to pay attention to the Art Gallery's opening hours on a Saturday afternoon. It wasn't (not their fault. We'd become temporarily illiterate!)...so we went in search of other entertainment.

Michael's stomach was demanding food, so lunch was an urgent priority. We spotted the venue at the other end of town from the Gallery. Upon entering, the friendly young lass explained the ropes.

Beer and cider from the Bargara Brewing Company were on display for drinking there or taking away. Michael decided on the Drunk Fish pale ale. There was also the chance to sample another tall drink with the Kalki Moon vodka, so I jumped at the opportunity.

The food menu was short but enough choice for most visitors. There were gluten-free choices. By far the most extensive part of the menu were for the pizzas. Michael had a small supreme pizza and I decided upon the bruschetta.

The food was very very good. The Brewhouse was fairly sparsely populated at two o'clock in the afternoon. Added interest was provided by the metal and wooden sculptures by local artist John Olsen (not to be confused with the geezer from Sydney).

Very pleasant indeed.
