One of best ever B&B stays. James and Joanna are perfect hosts. Three good sized double rooms open onto a delightful verandah. Galahs, parakeets and kangaroos are feet away. Guest fridge, and if you ask nicely, use of a superb gas barbecue in the evening. Attention to detail is superb. Joanna is dedicated to getting everything just right. Breakfasts legendary. james is a superb cook. Bakes fruit muffins each day. Makes all his own jams and compotes from top ingredients. Warm and welcoming. We are not surprised that all the other guests during our 4 night stay were regulars! James does a brilliant tour at $135 per head to a selection (5or6) small local wineries - he is fanatical about wine, and seems to be friends with everyone in the region.
Don't go if you demand air conditioning! There isn't any.

Room Tip: All 3 rooms are great.

This is a high end B&B, pricey but it does deliver and is well worth staying during a trip to the Margaret River.
Beautiful rooms, the equivalent of a 5 star hotel, they are equuisterly appointed with everything you might need.
Breakfast prepared by the hosts is delicious and a wonderful array of choices, start with some fresh fruit, follow that by homemade breads and jams or go straight to the variety of cooked breakfast. The Persian feta omelette is amazing.
Make sure you get back to your room around 5 ish to chill with a cold glass or two whilst enjoying the abundant bird life and the resident kangaroo family who pop in for something to eat.
Do remember this is a B&B though, breakfast is only between 0830 and 0930, the shared fridge for guests is outside and if the other guests are full on you can't escape them.
It's a little far out of the town of Margaret River so it's taxis if you don't have a designated driver, or bring something back from the shops. The owners are happy to let you use the barbbque.

Room Tip: No point in paying extra for the spa room, unless you want a bubble bath that is

Llewellins Guest House is a lovely 3 bedroom house. All rooms are very well appointed and open onto the verahdah, beds exceptionally comfortable. A nice table and chairs outside to sit and have a wine and an outdoor dining table and BBQ if you are inclined to do some cooking. James and Jo are very warm hosts, offering plenty of advice on surrounding area and also operate a wine tour. To top it off, they put on a fabulous breakfast around the big dining room table. You won't get a better breakfast anywhere.
As we were going to a concert in the evening, James was able to chauffeur us to and from the venue. You can also get taxis to and from Margaret River town. Prevelly Beach and cafe is also within 10 minutes drive.

Staying again at Llewellins guest house with hosts Jo and James. This time for the Leeuwin concert with James Taylor. Has to be the best in Margaret River with very comfortable accommodation. Relaxing surrounds, fantastic hosts and a breakfast that is superb. Next time going to take one of James's hosted wine tours.
