My husband & I stayed 4 nights in a 1 bedroom chalet which was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed provided including milk, butter & eggs on arrival which was very welcoming. The owners, Joy & Simon have done a fabulous job creating a refuge for woylies, quendas, possums and kangaroos. It was wonderful to be able to see the animals close up in their natural environment. Their are also many varieties of birds and we enjoyed meandering along the walking trails. We got some great photos and will remember our stay as a serene, luxurious and very enjoyable break in a unique location. Thanks so much to Joy & Simon for letting us share your wonderful property

Hi Folk thanks for the great review, looking after the boundary electric fence is an ongoing job to protect the friendly wildlife for our guests to enjoy meeting right on your doorstep.
Kind regards Joy & Simon

Our hosts were friendly and helpful and the room was lovely. But the animals made it spectacular! Kudos to the hosts for bringing back the nearly extinct woylies. As Americans we were keen to see some kangaroos and this is the place to be!

We have had a busy and stressful few weeks and this was exactly what the family needed. The house was cosy and private and in the bush. Lots of animals came to up to the back of the house including kangaroos, possums and a woylie (slighly smaller than a quokka). Had a nice walk in one of their bush trails in the morning. The outdoor spa was also really good to chill out in under the beautiful stars of the south west . We felt very welcome with Joy's little touches of leaving the heater on to heat up the house to "cosy", and fresh eggs and milk in the fridge for breakfast.

My friend and I were down for a wedding recently and chose to stay in the Yelverton Brook Eco Spa Retreat. Joy and Simon were lovely accommodating hosts on arrival and throughout our entire stay. We were thoroughly impressed by the amenities upon arrival. Simon and Joy went above and beyond to cater for their guests every needs. We were greeted by a friendly mob of Kangaroos on arrival and thanks to the kangaroo friendly food left by our hosts we were able to have a wonderful time feeding and taking pictures with them. The work that Yelverton Brook has undertaken to care for the critically endangered Woylies and boost their population is inspiring. The bush surrounds and spa just made for a lovely weekend away. We loved every minute we spent at Yelveton Brook Eco Spa Retreat and would 100% be coming back sometime in the future.

Lovely, quaint and very private cottages with great and guaranteed wildlife experiences. The kangaroos are super friendly, and we were visited each night by woylies, bandicoots and possums.

LOVE that this is an eco-certified wildlife sanctuary, but while there is an outdoor jacuzzi, it's definitely more eco than spa retreat.

... still a little confused as to why one of the few books in the house was about debunking evolution, particularly in the middle of a wildlife sanctuary.

Hi thanks for your review, great to hear you enjoyed your stay & meeting our fauna in the sanctuary. We are an eco retreat with a hot tub under the stars, we do work with other local day spa business that will come to your private chalet for your treatments.
