Had a bad experience. Was double billed at the western restaurant. After admitting their mistake, they told me to wait for 7 days for a refund. 3 weeks have passed. Now they tell me to wait another 2 weeks. 5 weeks all together! Now they wash their hands and tell me to follow up with the bank. Irresponsible and lackadaisical attitude. Will never go back again.

Even on my very first visit to A'Famosa Resort Hotel, I was simply awestruck by the vastness and the splendour of the place. Set in acres of spacious land and surrounded by greenery, the resort hotel is so beautifully decorated. I stayed in the resort hotel for one night and I was amazed at the location and the facilities in the room. The next morning a sumptuous buffet breakfast was served, not in one but in three adjoining rooms with a big spread of food including continental breakfast and also food like roti canai, thosai, puri, waffles and even pancakes were made on the spot for diners. I was also amazed to see the top guns of the resort sitting down to breakfast at the main table, showing that the quality of food is very stringently monitored to maintain its quality. The ambience surrounding the main building is also wonderful with the soothing sounds of cascading waterfalls and the splash of fishes from the fish ponds really makes it a place you do not want to leave at all. It was certainly a pleasant stay although the resort is located quite far from the main road. Yet it is worth the visit considering the fact that there are many attractions and theme parks to visit at this resort with Water Theme Park, Safari Park, Wild Wild West and so on.

Stayed in the 4 bedroom villa with pool.A major refurbish needed. The villa is big enough for 8 pax. Dining table was nicely set. Unfortunately, we found the whole villa not clean. Sheets were dirty with what looks like bloodstain. The toilet seat also had red stain. Toilet floor was dirty. Towels also had a smell I cannot get over it. We had bbq with food pre-ordered with hotel which was pretty good.
No privacy was our pool was by the roadside/driveway. Had to call room service to clean the pool everytime we want to swim because there were alot of leaves and bugs from the big tree around the area.
Fridge was old and dirty. Requested for secluded pool but was told they were full. Aircon in one bedroom and in the living room was leaking.

If you have a time and you want to blast with all the joy and cheers, then this is the best place for you. As, they have Malaysia's biggest water park. Best safari world ride and most interesting part is carnival festival.
You can see many shows such as colourful bird animal show, drama and much more. It was a great experience to see tiger and lion near to your bus and that too with your open eyes. It was horrible but unforgettable experience.
Best thing in trip was carnival fest. All the animals, actors and trainers, all in one place with great event. At last you can see fire show..
They have many more adventures, shows, events and many other things. Above one was my experience.
But at last I can say it was awesome experience and worth to invest your enthusiasm at such a great place.

The Bungalows villa is spacious for family or big group stay and with individual pools attached but that is the only plus point for this place.
From the entrance, you have to drive approximately 3.5km to reach the villa, so if you are taking public transportation, you must be prepare with your food supply as delivery to the place is limited. A Famosa could do well if they pair with Socar or Grab for car rental/public transport services or even shuttle services to the A Famosa Freeport is a good idea.
In addition, the road leading to the villa from the entrance also is not well kept. Please do something about this
