This was a pleasant surprise after arriving after midnight. A busload of guests arrived at the same time but we were efficiently processed, then found our room to be new, spotless and spacious. The room was very quiet despite being near the airport. An extra blanket would have been good, but as the bed was so big (triple) it was easy to fold the doona back. Breakfast was extra but very adequate, consisting of juice, cereal, toast and a coffee machine. A free shuttle bus took us back to the airport. The only things missing were a hair-drier and drinking glasses, but we would happily stay there again.
Perfect place for that overnight 'no frills' stop between planes. Rooms functional, clean and com fortable. The bathroom was immaculate, bed comfortable and alarm clock working ! The transfer between the main terminal and the hotel takes 5 minutes. Cross the road outside door 6 and look for the orange and black bus. Will definitely be using this hotel again.
Sorry but I was "not" expecting a back packers enviroment, so this may be my fault - But I was expecting at least to be able to make a cup of coffee, but the room had no amenities.
I felt that the room was stylied after a 1970 Hospital room.
I can see the room very suitable just for someone to sleep for a few hours prior to a early flight out at Auckland Airport. But for me on business it was not suitable at all.
