Villa 10 has a superb location looking down on the ocean and nearby Huala Island. For someone who wants to access Able Tasman Park, it is on the side of Nelson closest to the park. There is a good swimming beach within walking distance.
Hosts are great, the place is comfortably decorated with a large outdoor porch overlooking the bay. We were there for two weeks and loved it.

Nelson is a lovely, interesting city at the top of the South Island of NZ, Small by some other standards this unique city has the well deserved reputation of 'something for everyone'. It is a mecca for: the adventurous, for water lovers, wine aficionados, gourmets, art lovers and those just seeking to relax in beautiful surroundings. To this end Villa 10, West Wing apartment in Richardson Rd enriches all those experiences. More a home than an apartment, this unique accommodation with its high ceilings, beautiful wood floors, comfort and visual splendor are all designed to enhance the pleasure of those lucky enough to experience them. The wonderful view from the verandah looking across the sea to the surrounding hills and mountains is hard to beat. Our hosts Jenny and Graham, generous with their considerable knowledge of all that Nelson offers, helped make our stay with them are truly special experience and one we want to repeat - soon.
