Enjoy the beauty of each season at Postmasters, whether it's soaking up the sun whilst sitting out on the verandah with a refreshing drink or inside by the open fires with a homemade mulled wine in the colder months. The seasonal menu features fresh flavours, top quality local produce, and Central Otago wines which showcase the best of this famous wine-making region. Plenty of gluten-free and vegetarian options available as well as a dedicated kids’ menu.Open daily for breakfast, morning & afternoon tea, lunch and dinner.

This is now officially our new favourite place to eat.
We have been on a few occasions and each time it's outstanding, the lamb sholdour is next level.
The setting and decir is atmospheric and the staff are of a very high standard, go the Irish girls!!
We will keep coming back every time we are in Queenstown and drive out to your 10/10 restaurant, well done you are outstanding on every level.

Thank Lisa O

This restaurant has a beautiful setting indoors and out doors, and much like Arrowtown, has a nostalgic feel of the settler days.
The menu provided is just right - not too overwhelming.
We ordered the seafood chowder, chicken liver pate with bread; and cheese balls with a sauce that had some kick, but all Bursting with flavors!
I would definitely recommend this place; light meals and mains are plentiful.
Ps don’t forget to take a gander at their wine selection too!

We just loved this town, so much character, the Postmasters was our regular haunt for lunch and dinner. The food is great, the prices comfortable. Be aware that this is a very busy place so booking is advised. Because it is so busy a little patience is required at peak times...but it's worth the wait.

Pleasant smart cafe in 'period' surroundings. Pleasant staff although they seem more attuned to working in a fast food establishment as we were initially given only a couple of minutes to consider the menu and wine list before someone was hovering. Although very friendly the service throughout was rather more 'efficient' than leisurely/relaxed.
he food was good however (presentation and flavours) and one of the pinot noirs (Sally's Pinch) surprisingly good value.

Four of us had a meal recently & thoroughly enjoyed it. In fact it was superb.
Everything food , service , affordability was 1st Class. Would recommend to all.
Just one minor concern was the extremely loud music. We asked to move inside & as far as we were concerned it was problem solved.
The Irish Band are very very good but perhaps the volume could be turned down. I heard others comment also.
We will be back.
