We recently stayed at the ryley street motor inn in wangaratta again for a total of 4 nights. We are from brisbane and travel back frequently for family visits from wangaratta to wodonga and each time we choose to stay here and make day trips to the other places. The reason for this is we look forward each night to returning to our room. They are immaculately clean , modern and have everything you need. The bacon and eggs breakfast is a MUST we have it everyday for the duration of our stay. Its also nice and close to the main street with easy access to all the shops you need. Do yourselves a favor and have a relax at the ryley motor inn next time you are in town. We most certainly will be back again very soon well done guys. Its " ryley " great

Rooms are well equipped and set out, making your stay relaxed and refreshing.

We did not book just arrived and asked if they had a room, a couple of options were offered. We took up a room with a queen bed and a single for the night as we were passing through to Geelong. Our room was spacious and clean, the beds very comfy and the towels and sheets were great quality. There were plenty of eating out options, we walked up the road to the local Chinese and we were not disappointed. We will return next year!

Room Tip: Ask for options or a upgrade when you get there.

Just spent the long weekend in Wangaratta, which was a pleasant surprise as far as the relaxed and welcoming feel of the town, the river, parks and gardens and the variety of eating establishments. The generosity was obvious when we passed through Wangaratta on the way to a funeral, a couple of hours before check-in time. We were able to drop off our luggage, no drama, and appreciated the fact our belongings/food wouldn't be in the car, in the sun, for hours. Very grateful. Returning from the funeral, via a very dusty road, it was lovely to enjoy a very modern, clean and cool room, walking distance to a range of eateries.

I was surprised how difficult it was to get accommodation in Wangaratta on a Sunday night.
The Ryley offered me two options - old or renovated rooms.
I took the cheaper option and consider it overpriced.
The room was clean and spacious and there were nice little touches.
Breakfast was ok.
The bed was tired and firm.

Dear Mr. Elliott,
Thank you for taking the time to write a review on your stay with us. We love to get feedback on how clean our rooms are.
I would like to add that the Sunday night you stayed with us was actually 3 months ago and was the very busy weekend of the V8 Super cars.
You decided to stay in a Standard queen room with a tariff of $120.00 for the night, apposed to an all new fully renovated and modernised room for $135.00.
I would also like to mention that after going back over both computer and paper records for the night of your stay - we had no breakfast orders therefor provided no breakfasts for the following morning at all. So maybe you are thinking of a breakfast you had somewhere else while on your travels. Mistakes like this can happen when there is a 3 month gap between the visit and the review. We hope to see you again.
regards Gloria & Greg.
