We spent two nights here - it is a lovely quiet spot and convenient for the Emma Gorge Walk. However, it is a bit of a drive to the Station and many of the other walks and activities on El Questro. and you really need a 4WD for the star crossings before the station.
The "tents" are fine - bit hot but the fan helped and they cool down at night. The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and expresso coffee is available at the bar during the day. Dinner is a buffet not a la carte and there are some big groups. The food is a bit expensive but OK - better one night that the other. Unfortunately, food such as barramundi is not suited to be kept in a bain marie. The setting is lovely .
Breakfast was a bit disappointing - ordinary selection of food especially cereals and foods that ran out not replaced unless asked. Only instant coffee available unless you pay extra for expresso.
We had a salad for lunch one day - that was a la carte and quite good.
All in all - fine but not as good a Bundle Bungle Savannah Lodge.
