When we arrived, the story was playing on audio for all to hear as we walked around the various display areas. This is very well done, and even though it was a hot day, there was plenty of shelter. The ambience created by the audio was palpable.

There are no buildings standing anymore, only a copy of a guard tower. When you approach the tower an audio will start with information about the camp and the breakout of August 1944.

This is an amazing piece of Australian WWII history. While the buildings may be long gone the information boards and surroundings are kept in great condition.
