The male who ran the place was extremely rude and obnoxious. I had accidentally parked over the line of the next parking space. He called me on my mobile to tell me off then hung up on me. The bed mattress was terribly uncomfortable. Bed was nothing but springs in my back. Could feel the springs. The most uncomfortable bed I've ever slept on. Disgusting place to stay. Nasty owner. I thought I was back in the 80's staying here. Hot water in shower was either scolding hot, or cold. I nearly fell in the shower when the temperature changed suddenly to scolding hot - very dangerous. The bathroom cabinet next to the shower was in a terrible state. The chipboard was swollen from years of water damage. It looked disgusting and very unhygienic.
Spoken to like a piece of s#%* by the owner. Observed the owner talking to others in this manner also.
Walls paper thin, can hear what's going on in room next door which makes sleep difficult.
Was advertised as having a sauna - it doesn't work!!

Room Tip: Better off finding a nice hotel

As far as prices go in Jindabyne for accomodation throughout the snow season, I believe this is one of the better places if you are on a budget. Plenty of great facilities with a free breakfast and also views from a large balcony for everyone. Pom the owner was very welcoming and friendly and overall it is affordable and comfortable accomodation for a trip to the snow.

Booked the room at a good price for myself and 2 kids. Has all that is needed after a hard days skiing, ensuite bathroom, tv in the room and short drive to Jindabyne town centre. Management lovely. Nice and warm. Facilities a bit dated, but if you aren't bothered about that sort of thing its worth it as a place to lay your head at the end of the day.

Room Tip: front bedroom gets a bit of noise from the front door

We are respectable adults and were treated like naughty kids, it felt like we were back at school camp again. The place is very outdated and in desperate need of an update. Unfortunately we won't be returning again.

Ok stayed on June 2013, please don't stay here. The rooms were damp no clean towels after a day on the hill. Pom and Anh were lovely. But guys update the rooms, clean towels and newer bedding it felt like. Cheap hostel in the 80s and we are old enough to know what that's like. Update and reap the rewards beautiful location great views. Overpriced and when we stayed there tired.
