Home cooked restaurant quality meals in their lounge room. set in a lovely Swiss style farm with wonderful hosts Roland and Monique. The farm is opened for 2 nights on the last weekend of each month. A 3 course menu with lots of choice. The snails and seafood crepe are both delicious.

We booked a birthday lunch for 20 guests for my husband's 80th, and had the restaurant to ourselves. Hosts Monique & Roland are amazing chefs their food absolutely delicious. We had nibbles with champagne on arrival (they are unlicensed and you need to Byo but no corkage) then a 3 course meal with choices to follow - all cooked by them from scratch using their home grown ingredients - wonderful! Menu Swiss/French - delicious. Everyone was so impressed. It was just like being in your own home without the effort! Thank you for making it a memorable day Monique & Roland. VAL & Graham

Such a lovely venue to personalise your party / event.
A farm setting just outside Katoomba township.
A husband & wife team offering a unique experience by opening their home.
Providing a set menu with choices, it was really hard to choose from such a wonderful selection.
The service was excellent and a few personal touches made the whole experience so much nicer.
Most of the food comes from their lovely garden.

It is BYO and they do not charge corkage!

Take the train from Sydney if you wish, then a taxi to the address just 2.5 km away.......or just drive up to the front gate.
We are already planning our return...........loved it!

Attended for a family birthday and had the entire restaurant. Set menu with lovely choices. Can't recommend the cheese tart and seafood crepes enough. This is a pretty, friendly place for very good food in a mountains setting.

Husband and wife team, who run Le Petit Chalet catering, open their home for a 3-course menu just once every 4 weeks, although for parties of 12 or more (they can only accommodate 30 guests maximal at any one time) they will open for lunch or dinner anytime. Their home is warm and inviting and immaculately maintained. Their menu varies seasonally according to the produce from their own garden and property: so-called "slow food". They are unlicensed and do not charge corkage. Their food is rich and tasty ("Yum") and very Swiss-French with several dishes based on roesti. It is good value and makes for a very pleasant evening.
