I'm not sure what attracted me first to this place, the 50's memorabilia or the fact that it was an American style diner. For those fans of TV shows like 'American Pickers', 'American Restoration' or even 'Counting Cars', the memorabilia itself would be enough to look at. If you like diner style food, this one is good, their burgers especially, but it could have done with perhaps some US style ribs or fried chicken added to the menu. The staff were great and very chatty. A bit off the beaten track but worth a visit if you're passing.

It was fantastic to see.Had a milkshake and wished I hadn't had lunch earlier.I also wish I had the hot rod parked outside.
I will go back again for a burger & a longer visit.Well done & brave of the owners to do this in a small & beautiful town.

Wow!!!! came across this place when driving through Deloraine. Being Rock n Rollers we couldn't go past without having morning tea which was lovely. We were told this is a 20 year collection AMAZING we have been to many collections but nothing like this , It took hrs to take in all wonderful collections from the 50 & 60. Even if your not a rocker call in have a wonderful time. The garden maze front of the restaurant was lovely the restaurant has all the 50 style seating seating and juke boxes great music for 20c . My best time in Tassie.
Step back in time with Burgers,Fries,Hot Diggity Dogs,Ice Cream,Sodas,Milkshakes and much more.

Decorated in the style of an American fifties diner, this is a good cafe to stop for coffee and a browse. No cameras for some unknown reason. The service was okay but not welcoming. We actually felt as if we were intruding in a locals only place. The exhibits are a good talking point but they need to up their game if they want the tourist dollar.

Tucked away on a little side street in Deloraine, be prepared for a unique dining experience.
Filled to the brim with restored petrol bowsers, rat rods, pedal cars and 50s automotive memorabilia you will find this place very interesting and fun.
Retro dining tables and chairs, great service and tasty food makes a visit to this cafe an absolute must. Great for car or motoring enthusiasts.
