Friends flew in from Atlanta Ga. US on a two day ' flying visit ' to meet up with family. They stayed in a hotel in Eschborn which in a car is about 15mins away from the restaurant. Six of us went in two cars, when you get to the hotel you have to take a sharp 90 degree turn to enter the narrow side road which takes you past the entrance of the hotel and then further on to the free car park belonging to the hotel. Don't get mixed up with the first car park on the left side - it's ' PRIVATE ' ! I'd made a table reservation in advance for six persons , the owner/waiter showed us to our nicely decorated table. The menu is in German with English translation directly underneath. The dinning room has kept it's 'old' pleasant German style from the 80's/90's look - which the foreign tourist will find ' cute ' and spotlessly clean. Service was very friendly and relaxed. Two of us chose Breaded escalope ' Vienna Style ' with glazed carrots and pan fried potatoes, two the breaded escalope with mushroom cream sauce with french fries and lastly 2 x Argentinean Angus Rump Steak with veg and french fries. The food was excellent certainly went down a treat by our American visitors! If you visit the hotel's home page you be able to read up about the history it goes back a couple of hundred years! It's a fine place worth a visit and not so far from the city center.
