The monastery of Ayia Napa is in the centre of the city. It is the landmark and the old square of the village. Nowadays the mayor tries to bring back the old glorious days of that area once nore. It is must to pass at least once from this sacred place.

The monastery of Ayia Napa is a very historic monastery of the world, there you can find the Ayiazma water fall in the yard

Just outside the main centre of Ayia Napa lies this small monastery. Much of it is untouched from the middle ages and is a great insight to religion on Cyprus from that time. The site has a small chapel dating back to medieval times which houses a small water spring. There are numerous religious icons to be seen. The place is quiet and tranquil completely different to modern Ayia Napa. When leaving the ground slightly up hill are a number of modern statues. Downhill is the modern church which is well worth visiting as it holds many relics from the monastery site.

Right in the middle and a quiet haven and not to be missed set amongst all the hubble and bubble of Agia Napa town. It dates back to the middles ages and has some trees there that are nearly as old, A rare find that you will enjoy

The monastery is situated right in the middle of might club city. A short walk from Sun City and Pirates bar. There is a wonderful small church and about 10 cells for the original monks. Thought to be around 14 century. There is plenty of information boards and a small gift shop.
