Based on the previous review we booked to come here and not disappointed. Each variety had a very distinctive flavour. Highly recommend the Arroz Boletus Y Bacalau. Great local wine, waiter with character and a fantastic view - what more could we ask for?

We were a bit early, at 8:30, so we were the only ones there for the first half hour or so. 9 -9:30 would be a better time to go for dinner.
There was no set menu, but plenty of choice on the à la carte menu. We shared a starter, and were glad we did, as it was plenty big enough for two people.
We had the venison steak and one of the several pork dishes on the menu. They were both cooked to perfection. The wine was wonderful from the region.
We shared a dessert which was some kind of ice cream with the local coffee liqueur resolí infused in it. We finished with coffee.
The bill came to just over €40, and we queried it, because the dessert had been omitted. The waiter said that the dessert was on the house, as was the small glass of resolí that he brought for us to try.
The food was of the standard of a luxury restaurant and the service was friendly and personal. This restaurant is not to be missed.
Another Trip Advisor reviewer has commented that this restaurant does not welcome non-Spanish customers. This was absolutely not our own experience here.

This restaurant is at the top of Cuenca and has beautiful views over the western gorge and Mirador so that you can enjoy a sunset while you have dinner. The staff are very hospitable and helpful. We enjoyed a great meal where we chose from a good selection of local regional dishes (a broader range was also available). Very enjoyable.

One night in Cuenca and we decided to have dinner in Asador Maria Morena! Great choice! Everything was great: the place's design, the plates and the service.. but also the price!! The meat was really good, the fish too!! And we had a little offer of queso and liquor at the end! Next time in Cuenca.. again here for sure!!
