Good place to stay on a stopover - very clean place with friendly management and access to a large kitchen if you want to cook. We had a private bathroom and AC option. Good value for money. Management offered advice on where to eat locally and boat timings/prices.

A fine example of how a cheap plane can be just perfect. We were stranded in Sierpe for the night and they gave us room no. 9.
It was spacious and had a nice and very comfortable bed with additional blankets available. There was air conditioning and a big, silent fan. The romm has a wonderful big bathroom with a huge shower and was super clean.
It was low season and we paid 20.000 Colones.
Breakfast is not included but Sierpe is tiny and just a few steps down the road are a paneteria, soda and supermarket as well as a restaurant.
Not fancy but very clean, comfortable and reasonably priced. Great location near everything but in a quiet neighborhood. Sierpe is a quaint little river town with nice restaurants. Don't make the mistake of staying in Palmar, a 'nothing burger' town just 15 minutes away.
This place is simply perfect for any budget traveler! They offer a range of rooms, from just under $15 USD, up through a bit more expensive if you want A/C and a private bathroom. They are located just off the center strip of Sierpe, making them a close 3 minute walk to go get tour info or grab something to eat, yet far enough away to stay away from any noise, and to have a completely relaxing spot to sleep and recover after long days of adventuring.
Hotel Margarita was a wonderful find during our trip to the Osa Peninsula, the rooms were comfortable and had great A/C which was a relief from the hot summer heat. The owners were so kind and accomodating to our every need and the location worked out great as we explore the different nature tours and Corcovado National Park. Hope to return soon!
