Eight of us had lunch here after a river tour. We ordered several different items from the menu and everybody liked their food very well. Portions are good sized and prices are very reasonable. The service was fine and the drinks were especially cold. The restaurant is right beside the river, so you have a nice view and a decent breeze.

The best thing about Las Vegas is its amazing view of the Sierpe river and mountains. The restaurant has a covered outside patio that hangs out over the river and boat docks. It's a great place to chill out. The patio isn't air-conditioned by it does have lots of ceiling fans. There is free WiFi. Inside the restaurant is colorfully painted tire art and photo's of wildlife. There's even a giftshop. The restaurant has a selection of wines, beers, and spirits. They accept credit cards (visa and MC, not AmericanExpress). The menu has a mix of average tasting Tico and western food (go for the view, not the food).

As part of our group journey, we stopped here to wait for our boat. The owner would be the caretaker of part of our luggage during our 3 day stay at Corcovado. We would then return to the restaurant again to catch our bus. On both occasions we ordered something to drink, which was a coffee on our way back. making the coffee was a big challenge for the owner as the machine was not made to cater for a large group. The restaurant itself is nothing really special, although the balcony facing the river does provide a nice view.

The restaurant was recommended by our snorkeling guide. It was down a little road in the back of town. Prices were reasonable and the portions were hugh even by American standards. We were definitely an unusual group, don't think they see many Americans!

Good wifi and friendly staff. Not a bad place to stop if you're waiting for a boat. Drinks were good and a good price. Breakfast pancakes were filling and fluffy but unfortunately didn't come with any fresh fruit.
