I thought this place was fabulous for what it is:. A mid-priced local Soda with authentic food and just perfect for before or after the mangrove tour. Try the palm ceviche- yes ceviche made with hearts of palm- it was awesome! We all got tipico plates and they were good. The fish was fried and very breaded so might not recommend that one. Everything else was great and clean with great views. We did mangrove tours with Warner was was just fantastic!

Had lunch at this place 3 or 4 times before, this time while some friends and my wife went for a tour I stayed and catch up on my wifi. Had a ceviche since this is a restaurant that is almost in the river, was very disapointed, there was more onions and big pieces instead of fish. Will probably eat there again since the previous time lunch was good but will never order the ceviche again..

I'm not sure why other reviewers haven't found this place exceptional. It has great food, very attentive service, and by far the best view of the river in town. Mid-range very affordable prices. Given that it's located right on the river, I would of course recommend you try any of the fish they have to offer. It's all extremely fresh. It is large and open, and has fans to make sure you stay cool. The owner Johnny is great, he's really passionate about his restaurant and providing the absolute best service and food that he's able to. There is a tiny gift shop to look around in as well.

This was our scheduled stop to wait for the boat to Pirate Cove. Good place to wait, in a pura vida style. We had a little something to eat, the guacamole and chips was very nice.

We stopped here while waiting to catch our boat to Pirate Cove Hotel as the water taxi moors just outside the restaurante. You need to eat or pay to use the washroom facilities here which is only fair. We sat and all ordered a fruit drink ( refresco) which was reasonably priced compare to elsewhere in the country. I believe it was about $2 US each. Quick stop but nice to sit and have a refreshing drink as we watching the comings and goings of all the boats on the river.
