My husband sorted out this jazz workshop weekend and invited me along .Usually he delegates any holiday/weekend breaks to me as the criteria are stringent and exacting for a successful trip .
I packed a hot water bottle and multiple woolies just in case .They stayed in the bag as the cottage was cosy and warm. The cottage was central to the village and near the Piglet Cafe and Pig Nose pub where you receive a friendly welcome and fresh herrings straight off the beach .
The local walks and views are stunning .

“Charming cottage in delightful village with exquisite scenery”
Reviewed 1 November 2014 for a stay in October 2014

We had a fabulous weekend. Kate provided everything we needed and was a gracious host.
The cottage was spacious for two couples, and the Pig'sNose Pub and Piglet Cafe were great fun. It was a pleasure not to have to drive, but be able to walk to beautiful beaches and rocky
vistas.

“Gorgeous house in a lovely place”
Reviewed 3 September 2014 for a stay in August 2014

Everything you need in the house and on the doorstep for a chilled out holiday with beautiful scenery and beaches. We all had a lovely time on the beach and in the small village that has everything you could need. The house - recently refurbished - was beautiful - really cosy- compact but spacious. We would go back - Kate was a lovely host!

“Amazing location at the heart of the village”
Reviewed 25 August 2014 for a stay in August 2014

A delightful cottage in the perfect location. Nearby a village shop selling local produce, a village cafe where someone else can cook you breakfast, lovely cakes or afternoon tea. The local pub is lively with great beer and traditional pub fayre. My children played on the village green with others right outside the cottage. We walked to five different beaches - which for the most part were deserted. We didn't use the car all week, and had a much needed restful break. Thoroughly recommended!
