Lovely, friendly place and great tasting hot coffee. Definitely worth visiting. Owner is in the process to expand the menu soon, but it is great as a breakfast/snack/lunch stop at present.

My husband and I came here after a lovely afternoon roaming the streets of old Ronda...we were attended to by the new owner of the place, an English chef who had just taken over from the previous German owner. He was a really nice guy, and an excellent baker - the chocolate cake we tried was delicious - and he had lots of new ideas for improving the cafe. One aspect in which it could improve is the interior, as of now it is a bit cafeteria-style. It can be made a whole lot cozier and warmer, more fitting to the location...we'll definitely come back here when in Ronda, to see the changes and try more yummy baked goods!

We had breakfast here and it was great. Coffee and pastries with freshly squeezed orange juice. The owner could not of been more helpful and made us welcome. He even said that we could use the toilets any time of the day.

After a full tapas meal with mostly savory tastes we were walking around to find some ice cream to satisfy our sweet teeth and stumbled across Chocolat. The friendly German owner spoke impeccable English and helped us pick out flavors with generous tastings! We loaded up on these cold sweet delights, had a great conversation about places to travel and then wandered back into the night with truly unusual and very delicious frozen desserts. A great treat.

When strolling the pedestrian street of Ronda, La Bola, the cafes which present themselves do not seem much different one, one from the other. However, Chocolat really is different, having lovely sandwiches, good coffee, hot croissant and very good tea. I love the Vegatal sandwich, which is moist and tasty, not the dry jamon-bomb to which I have resigned myself when ordering your basic bocadillo. There are also very good crepes. I hear the hot chocolate is wonderful, and rich. There is free wifi, if you ask for the password, and clean bathrooms. A nice lunch spot or breakfast for a day in Ronda.
