We stayed overnight on a layover before flying to KL. It is very close to the airport, so ideal for late arrival or early departure. The room was confortable even though the hallways are like a maze. We ate dinner and breakfast at the hotel and they were fine.

good room, bed, stores around. easy to food access. good staff and nice lobby. need to rent a car since no access to other transport. easy for business meeting day stay. sleep very well and no noice or music party.

Traveled for business and booked the single room. I arrived at around 1 pm and the front desk allowed me to check in early. Front desk staff was very attentive and efficient - gave very clear directions on how to access the different facilities in the hotel.
Room was spotless, which was a huge huge plus point for me. Toilet is clean, no weird smell in the room. Room was a bit small but manageable.
There are convenience store and fast food restaurants within walking distance (on the same row of shop lots), airport is just a 10 mins car ride away. All in all very good value for money!

Well, we stayed in Smiths house something like 9 nights and all was perfect until our last night..
Our bag with my wallet and our phones was stolen at Chenang beach( And when we arrive to reception, and ask to call the police , they refuse to do that, we been told to go to police station by ourselves, and when my wife asked to book a Grab taxi, guy from reception again refused to do that( So situation was like staff was worried not about helping us, buy just how we will pay for extras, for calls to Uk, to cancel our visas etc. Overall hotel is very good, dont get me wrong, clean and with nice breakfasts. The location is very close to airport, but no noise from the aircrafts. Just because of our case, i take off couple stars .

Wonderful staff delivering first class service; great room - spacious, spotless clean (serviced everyday), nice ensuite bathroom; excellent breakfast with a pretty good variety of dishes... And (not to be forgotten) a GREAT swimming pool. The location is perfect for those who want to tour the whole island. Everything is within easy "reach" (including shops and restaurants). We ended up staying 6 days at the Smith House (the time it took us to explore - with a motorbike - all sides and aspects of Langkawi). We loved this hotel; it delivered exactly what we expected (and more!)... Overall brilliant value!
