Not easy to find really good French restaurant outside of France, so discovering of this tiny cafe in Prague was a doble surprise for us. Came there in search of my fav croissants aux amands, and ended up tasting the whole menu. Literally everything in the list deserves a visit - starting from typical croque madame or crepes with Versaiiles ham and finishing with classical parmentier with duck confit or beef a la bourguignon. Whatever drink you order, they serve a whole set with glass of water, milk jug and small magdalene, like Parisians do, and vintage design is amazing too - red sofas, old posters, mirrors, copper and glass. A bit slow service and limited timetable, but this cafe is not for the hurry, its just to seat and relax and breath Paris in Prague.

It is nice to come back to this cozy cafe with great selections of sweets and aroma of fresh coffee. Great experience (as always).

The food was wonderful and the service was very nice for this destination. (Expectation of service in states and Europe is different). The server was attentive, kind and accommodating. He did an excellent job translating and answering questions. The price was fair and the food as prepared perfectly. I will return.

Thank lstitt

We heard about this café/restaurant from friends who were there and liked it. We decided to try the Café first and were not disappointed. The place, although in a slightly shabby neighborhood has the authenticity of a French café, including the ambivalence and staff in black aprons with magenta ties. The coffees (espresso and cappuccino) were rich and professionally prepared as well as the tarts and desserts. The staff consisting of servers Lucie, Jakub and Milan were polite, friendly and swift. We are looking forward to visit the place for lunch or dinner shortly.

This is a very nice Café parisien few steps from Charles university. The decoration reminds old Paris café and you find the French classicals such as Le pain perdu, but also typical local cakes (Appfel strudl, blueberries cake etc.). The service is young, does not speak French, but is doing its best to explain what is on the menu whilst the easiest way to choose is to go around and make your choice out of the very testy cakes exposed. It is certainly an excellent place to enjoy calm with a cake and coffee after a tiring walk in the central Prague (some 10 min from the Wenceslas square).
