My first visit to Prague & this hotel did not disappoint the metro is 5 mins away & plenty of bars & restaurants a short walk away.rooms are to an exceptional standard with a good shower & big wash basin bed was comfortable & rooms serviced daily. Ask for a safe key & air con is extra at €5 per day. Rooms do not have tea/ coffe facilities. Would stay again

It's not in the center, but a quiet residential neighborhood. Five minute walk to metro, 3 stops from the river: I probably walked less to get to Charles Bridge than people in some of the fancy, "centrally-located" hotels. Four euros (2 for over 60s) for an all-day metro card, Lovely room, gracious staff. Excellent European breakfast, i.e., eggs, meats, cheese, breads, yogurt. Comfortable, clean room. Elevator (not all old buildings have them). I'll definitely stay here again if I come back to Prague! Not much in the area in the way of restaurants, but a good one on the corner (Per Te) and several beer-meat-and-potatoes places nearby.

The hotel is nicely redone, safe, and clean. Linens and bedding are plush, the room was quiet and comfortable.

The male who was working reception was friendly and helpful. The others not so much.

The hotel description on hotels.com shows that the hotel is air conditioned. Our room had no vents for a/c. When we asked about being moved to a room with a/c the person said she could move us but no room had working a/c. Luckily we weren’t staying during hot and humid weather.

Breakfast was adequate, but had the same menu all three days we were there. Different day, same stuff.

CNN was on the cable menu but was blank on the screen. At least a few other English channels worked.

I don’t appreciate a hotel listing a/c as an amenity when it doesn’t seem to exist. Ne t time I visit Prague I’ll stay somewhere else.

The hotel is situated in Prague 2, so a little bit away from the Old Centre. This is not a problem because you can walk (app. 40 minutes), take the tram (app. 30 minutes) or take the metro (app. 15 minutes). We had taxi service from airport to hotel and that was okay. Due to the fact that we arrived after 23:00, the taxidriver had our room-keys because the reception is closed after 23:00. We had 3 rooms. Rooms are okay and clean, but in two of the three rooms airco was not working and would be fixed after our stay! Due to the good weather and that our rooms (503, 504 and 505) are situated directly under the roof, this was at night not really nice. We made this trip due to the fact that we had our 35 wedding anniversary. Our kids contacted the hotel to deliver a bottle of wine into our room on arrival. After two days it still wasn't delivered by the staff (sorry, forgotten). Surprise: gone!
When you make a booking you get a free gift: for each room Tea & Coffee set. We never found it!
Rooms have no minibar and the elevator is very small (two persons max).Breakfast is okay, although the toaster should be replaced.
All at all: we had a great journey visiting Prague: hotel is nice but service below expectation!

Lovely hotel, staff are friendly, everything is clean and modern, there is a grand feeling about the place. High ceilings, tall doors, long heavy lined curtains, just like the pictures on their website. Located in a quiet part, just a short walk (10-15 mins?) from Wenceles Square. Would definitely stay here if we come back. Breakfast was limited, but had good range of choices to suit all. Excellent hotel, thank you hotel Anna.
