This place is out of the way but well worth it. It is peaceful and beautiful. The basilica is one of the nicest churches I have ever visited. The website says that they have audio tours available but no one here knew about them. Maps or informational on the grounds would have been helpful because most of the time I did not know what I was looking at; the information I had was from Wikipedia but do not let that deter you, it is still worth the trip.

There is a park that can be nice in spring time, fantastic view over Prague and a nice church full of golden artefacts and also some kind of treasure. For czech people is very import the cemetery here where you can find a lot of famous people.

Really nice walk, specially if you not really sure where you aren't going and fancy a bit of a wonder. Great views over the city André river and you can walk all around it.

Beautiful, quiet place. It's not so easy to reach it (especially from metro station Vyšehrad, you really have to follow the map). The view of the Vltava river, the old town and the Prague castle is magnificent.

A former fortress that allows for incredible views across thr Vlitava River, a bascilica, and many other beautiful and ornate works of architecture. And, in what i consider one of the highlights of Prague, there is an underground, giant space that is used to house original statues from the Charles Bridge! The underground space is naturally temperature and humidity controlled, and it is dark ( but lights are turned on for the visiting groups). The visit to the underground is by scheduled tour only. Oh, by the way, do not think that the "replacement" statues on the Charles Bridge are cheesy fakes. The replacements are all originals in their own right, and they are ca. > 200 years old.
