The apartments were located on Krakovska off of Wenceslas Square, very close to the National Museum, which is closed now for renovations. It is about a 15 minute walk from the National Theatre, a 20 minute walk from Old Town and the Charles Bridge. About 10-15 minutes walk from the main train station (Prague hl.n). Subways and trams are easy to use, you just have to make sure you buy the ticket and validate it before entering the subway, or once on the tram.
There were 8 of us (4 in each apt), and the company, through Prague-stay.com, arranged the airport transfer for us both ways for a reasonable price, which made arrival seamless, although check-in is at 2. If you arrive early, you can store your bags and have lunch.
The apartments were nice, big, clean. Kitchen with coffee maker. One of the apartments had a washer and dryer, the other had a washer only. When we arrived, we had to buy paper towels, garbage bags, bath soap, and shampoo. We had to buy more toilet paper about mid- week. Groceries and supplies can be purchased nearby at the Alberts and the drogerie in the nearby museum subway station.
The internet can be a little clunky to get on, but once we were on it seemed to work.
The best thing about the apartments was the amazing view of the city from the large balconies, which had tables and chairs.
