We were four couples and stayed 3 nights at this nice, small hotel. The hotel was full of history as the city itself.
Nice, stylish and comfortable.
The staff was very helpful, the breakfast very good and we had dinner one night which was good except for the recommended Polish wine (do not try).
Compared with the big international hotels this was much more to my taste.

The hotel is fine, though I wasn't as impressed as most reviewers seem to be. My room was a bit small and a triumph of style over substance. For example there were three chairs in the room, but hardly anywhere to put anything. And it suffers badly from silly pillow syndrome. One big square pillow which takes up a third of the length of the bed, and a very small pillow smaller than a scatter cushion. Very uncomfortable, and when I asked for a nice, ordinary sized pillow they didn't have one. Pillows are pillow-sized for a reason. I suggest the management get down to IKEA - it's only just down the road after all - and buy some proper pillow-sized, pillow-shaped pillows.

If you need a visual and sensorial break from office white and grey standards, that infect also new hotels, try this one: looks like an old manor, but not like crappy old UK hotel, but refurbished, comfortable, with excellent bathroom and great restaurant.

Really worth!!!

This hotel is great! cheap and so worht the money,

I would like to add that being a 5 star hotel, I would like to say that when in a 5 star hotel you expect a surtain respect from the staff to be polite we had 1 waiter at the hotel's diner that did you treat me and my friend with respect and after she saw what we ordered she toned her tone down a little.. wich tells me that it matters if your john smith or Mr. John smith.. the front desk was amazing and when we couldnt get any taxis after calling 4 companies because they where all busy the front desk managed to get us a taxi in under 10 minutes wich I thougt was pretty amazing! all in all it was a good experience except for that 1 waiter wich didnt bother us that much..

Room Tip: If you need a taxi ask the front desk to help you out! they will get you one in no time!

An unusual place to stay, but pleasant. The staff are great, rooms are fine without being extravagant, there's good food available in the restaurant in evenings, and breakfast is good. There's no bar or evening atmosphere, it's a (good value) taxi ride from the centre of the city, and the immediate area is of limited interest. There is a casino downstairs, and if the rooms are considered as an adjunct to the casino, it makes more sense. I'd go again, but i'd be planning to make more use of taxis to explore the city.
