Owner description: Built of stone and brick at the end of the 13th century, this massive Gothic tower stands 70 meters tall and leans just 55 centimeters, a result of a strong wind in 1703.

Wasn't sure what to expect as we stood outside but ventured in. 10 zloty and 110 steps was a bit of fun. Steps are uneven so hard going and only one way up and down so you need to be aware of others coming down. There are 3 levels so time to rest. Metal chains on the walls help with your ascent and descent!
Good views from the top but thru glass. So not an open view which would have been nice.
Our only criticism was that at the top there was a historical clock mechanism but no English information.
Oh and a helter-skelter down would have been fun :)

Town Hall Tower is a beautiful Gothic tower that dominates Town Hall Square. You can't miss it. It was closed.

Went at the end of feb, was closed, sign on the front of the door said that it would reopen in March. Went back a few days later (in march), staff were inside but told us that it was not open until 7th March, would have been helpful if this was written outside. As a result we did not get to go in and see the town hall.

Due to my broken leg, I couldn't climb the steep stairs to the upper floors, but was intrigued by the "house marks" left by early builders, as I had never heard of them before. Craftsmen etched them into stone when their work was completed, sometimes as advertisement and sometimes as proof of their work to facilitate payment. Take a look!

Nice tower to look at, but we could not climb up the tower since it is closed in winter - it was beautiful in the snow
