Nice view to the central roundabout intersection from my window in standard room 409. Recommend it! Free water for guests. 5minutes to the Central Railway and Zloty Tarasy trade center. Good bus, trams and subway connection. Some noise when the balcony opened. (If you want more comfortable and quite rest choose executive room, was here for 1 night also). The room was without air conditioner. Tasty and various breakfasts. A lot of cafes, banks and department stores are very close to Metropol

The currency exchange's (near the hotel entrance) staff tried to cheat me. Be aware

I stayed in this hotel on 24 of July. The hotel and room is clean with friendly efficient staff. Wifi is good throughout the hotel and the breakfast is good with an excellent selection. The hotel is located in the heart of Warsaw so you have a great choice of bars and restaurants on the doorstep. I would recommend this hotel for business or vacation.

... Rooms are perfect, service is kind ,except the fact that there is a lot of light coming in the morning and a lot of noise from traffic.
The location is in the Center and is in front of metro station
I did not take breakfast due to company tarif.

We stayed 3 nights in this hotel, as were visiting Warsaw for a gig. The hotel is very centrally located next to the Metro, with buses, trams and trains all very convenient. The bus from the airport drops off at the Palace of Culture & Science which is a 3-5 minute walk away from the door of the hotel. The staff were all very polite and spoke English (very useful as our Polish is non-existent!). The room was spotless. However, we were located on the front of the building which looks out over a very busy intersection. Lots of sirens, beeping horns and traffic noise. This didn't bother us, but could be an issue if you need peace and quiet for a good nights sleep. Unfortunately the hotel doesn't have air-conditioning and as we were there over a very hot weekend (mid-30s) this was a bit of a problem as, even with the balcony door open, there was no air. We coped however! The bathroom was small but well fitted out with a very good shower. Towels which weren't tatty either which you sometimes get in this range of hotel. The bed was fairly comfy and the bedding was spotlessly clean. We only had breakfast one morning and there was a large selection of hot and cold food. We were going to try the Metro Bistro and Jazz bar one evening for our meal, but never got around to it! The hotel has free wi-fi which worked really well and was really quick. Poland is very cheap and this hotel cost us about £35 a night which I think was a real bargain!! One negative is that part of the hotel was covered by a huge advertising hoarding and I should imagine this would mean that rooms behind this would have no view which I think would be annoying if you stayed in one of those. Luckily for us, this didn't affect our room.

Room Tip: For a quieter stay, you may want to ask for a room facing towards the back of the hotel.

This hotel is very conveniently located right beside Centrum metro station and is within walking distance of the old town (around 25-30 minutes by foot).

This hotel exceeded my expectations. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable, with good wifi signal. The breakfast buffet had an excellent selection of food and drinks and the quality was very good.

Given the price that we had paid, we were incredibly happy with our stay at Hotel Metropol.
